AIDS Walk NY Volunteers

Be the first face that participants see the morning of AIDS Walk New York! Sign-In Volunteers check in walkers and collect the funds they have raised. You must be friendly, outgoing, detail oriented, and have a valid photo ID. Sign-In Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and fluent in English.

AIDS Walk Shift:
Sunday, May 17 from 6:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. You will receive your Sunday reporting location at orientation.

Mandatory Orientation:
Tuesday, May 12 from 6:30 p.m. -- 8p.m. at GMHC Event Room (446 West 33rd Street, 6th Floor - Room 6029)

OR

Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. -- 12 p.m. at the Star Walker's Tent in Central Park

Mission Statement

AIDS Walk New York aims to raise funds through a yearly event to support GMHC and other organizations that reduce the spread of HIV disease, help people with HIV maintain and improve their health and independence, and keep the prevention, treatment and cure of HIV an urgent national and local priority.
