We will be volunteering with the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio and their thrift store "Furniture with a Heart"! Activities include any or all of cleaning donations, organizing donations, sorting donations, assembling furniture, and more. Volunteers should be prepared for physical activities and may want to bring a closed-container water bottle though water coolers will be available.
When: Saturday, April 21st, 2017, 11AM- 1:30PM
Where: Furniture with a Heart, 2165 Morse Rd. Columbus, OH 43229

Dress: Wear weather-appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dusty or dirty
Shoes: closed-toe shoes are required; no heels, sandals, or flip flops
Parking: please feel free to park anywhere in the parking lot. Feel free to mention to any employee that you are there to volunteer and they will make sure that you are directed to the correct area.
About the Furniture Bank: With a mission to provide furniture to central Ohio families and individuals struggling with poverty and other severe life challenges, the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio serves 80 families every week, providing 1,400 pieces of furniture each week and working with client base with 95% earning less than $24,000 per year.
