Here at Food for Good Thought Vocational Support, we raise funds and provide resources for innovative employment opportunities and sustained job supports for persons living with autism in central Ohio when conventional funding streams are unavailable or have been exhausted.
Currently, we are seeking applications for new members to join our Board of Directors. Members of the board will have the opportunity to perform the following functions:
- Research and vote on various grant opportunities
- Plan and manage our participation in annual events, including the Autism Speaks Walk
- Raise funds and extend our donor network
- Develop our programs to better serve our clients
Individuals with experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, special needs development, and vocational training are strongly encouraged to apply for board membership.

Mission Statement
The mission of Food for Good Thought Vocational Support is to raise funds and provide resources for innovative employment opportunities and sustained job supports for persons living with autism in central Ohio when conventional funding streams are unavailable or have been exhausted.
Description
Our on-site gluten-free bakery provides supported employment to persons with autism living in central Ohio. Funding is typically provided by state sources; waiver services; Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities; and the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. FFGT is accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We also provide job development and job coaching in the general community. In addition, we provide transition services through the Autism Scholarship Program. All of our supported employees and clients receive at least minimum-wage for their work.
