The Community Action Agency of St. Louis County (CAASTLC) requests volunteer assistance for its second annual fundraiser event at Orlando's in Maryland Heights. We anticipate an attendance of 200. We have a strong development committee actively leading the event planning and solicitations.

Sponsor Follow-up Call Volunteers (Two/three volunteers needed)

• Sponsor follow-up calls from CAASTLC and Development Event Committee members
• To ask for a sponsor-level donation, live auction donation, program advertisement, and/or ticket purchase

Live Auction Soliciting Volunteers (Two/three volunteers needed)

• Call unrelated companies to CAASTLC for donated quality live auction items
• Maintain record of results, process for obtaining, pick-up
• Complete receipt form, mail form for donor

Event Preparation Volunteers (Two/three volunteers needed)

• Assist with mailings, decorations, etc.
• Assist with preparing Live Auction materials

At the Event Volunteers

• Set-up volunteers (Two volunteers needed)
  • Work under staff to assist set-up

Registration Table (Two volunteers needed)

• Know registration duties
• Know event itinerary
• Provide orientation to guests

Live Auction management (One/two volunteers needed)

• Support auctioneer with bidding activity
• Assist with closing Live Auction, assuring payment is made

Event clean-up (Two volunteers needed)

• Assist with packing things away
• Assist with assuring guests are assisted/ thanked

Event Follow-up Center (Two/three volunteers needed)

• Timely thank you notes
• Follow-up on other tasks identified
• Staff provides materials, process
