We are a hospice in need of Pet Therapy dogs to visit our patients. There is no greater feeling than to see what pets can do for hospice patients.
We have opportunities all over the Lake, Ashtabula, Geauga and Cuyahoga counties. You would be given a home or facility where you can go once a week or once a month at a time that works for you and our patient.
You will get far more out of it than you will ever give. They may not have been able to have their own pet for quite some time.

Description
Grace Hospice cares for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose to not seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. Hospice focuses on comfort care rather than curative care. The goal of hospice is for patients to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
