Are you an outgoing teenager? Do you enjoy working with children? Are you dependable? The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County seeks volunteers to serve as Summer Reading Buddies Assistants. Summer Reading Buddies Assistants will help with Reading Buddies programs by pairing with 1-3 children to read together and play literacy related games.
Ability to lift and carry materials; Ability to reach, bend, and stoop; Completed application; Interview
This is a teen only volunteer position.
All volunteers must be approved by Volunteer Services prior to service. Our application and screening process includes: an online application, interview, reference check, and background check.
