Bringing Hope

You can impact the lives of numerous children and adults by volunteering to teach in our school. You do not need to speak our local language however you will learn some local basic words.
The teaching program is open to all the volunteers whether they are on holiday, university or even just on career/ work break.
When you choose to volunteer with us, you will find a warm welcome awaiting for you from our children. You can teach English, making 'Loombands', basic computer skills, or you can work alongside local teachers as a co-teacher.
Some of the schools we work with are often understaffed and poorly resourced, but you can help to improve this situation by volunteering your time in the classroom.
Often you will find that the only tools you have are a blackboard and a piece of chalk. This can be both challenging and exciting, as you have the freedom to use your creativity and think outside the box. You may find that the greatest tool for effective learning is yourself. The students will want to find out about you and the country you come from. They will want to know why you have chosen to come and teach them.
Whatever skills and talents you have, teaching in our schools offers a rewarding combination of the new, exciting, and life-changing, as well as the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
