Help set up and support Westside Food Bank's Brunch fundraiser at the beautiful West LA VA Heroes Garden, where Westside Food Bank has a collection of vegetable beds for veterans. This event raises funds to support our hunger relief programs for veterans and children. Tasks include set up (10am-12pm: unloading items from the truck, organizing decor and auction items, and setting up cooking and eating areas); food and beverage service during the event (11:30am-2pm); and clean-up following the event at 2pm. We will accept volunteers who can participate before and/or during the event.

Westside Food Bank's mission is to provide as much nutritious food as possible to local agencies with food assistance programs and to reduce food waste in Western Los Angeles County.
Description
Since 1981, Westside Food Bank has provided food to local social service agencies serving low-income individuals and families.
We currently supply more than 70 agencies with a balanced variety of nutritious foods. Our member agencies come to our warehouse to pick up weekly food allotments, and/or receive food delivered from our Extra Helpings Westside prepared and perishable food rescue program. Our food reaches over 105,000 unduplicated individuals each year.
