Volunteer for San Francisco Opera's Prop Artist In-School Visits

Dear friends of San Francisco Opera,

We are looking for volunteers to join us in elementary school classrooms across the Bay Area to work with students and SF Opera Production Artists to build sets and propsfor students' own original mini-operas! Please note that given the interactive nature of this event, volunteers are expected to be on their feet for the duration of each visit and fully participate in fun arts & crafts activities with students (painting, cutting cardboard boxes, and more)!

Below is the list of build days at our partner schools. You can always attend for a partial day.

Optional: we also encourage you to attend the pre-visit at the school you plan on volunteering, listed under each build day, where the Production Artist will go over the story, paint techniques, etc. to prepare the students for the build day. It will help better prepare you on what to expect for the build day.

Monday, March 25 Dover Elementary, San Pablo (8:30am-10:00am & 12:15-2:15pm)
