Join us during our National Trails Day at Portuguese Bend Reserve. This volunteer days is open to all, no experience needed! We will be working on one of our repairing trails and closing social trails in this 900 acre preserve to celebrate responsible recreation! Your work will help improve the land for people and wildlife alike!
**Please be aware that this volunteer day includes a small hike to the restoration site (15 minutes). This event is not recommended for small children or disabled persons.
This event will meet at Del Cerro Park, next to Portuguese Bend Reserve at the intersection of Crenshaw and Burrell Lane. Thank you for supporting the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy!

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."
Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
