Celebrate Earth month with The Nature Conservancy and lend a hand to Kilchis Estuary!

In the southeast corner of the Tillamook Bay, tidal wetlands and Sitka spruce swamp habitat are being restored to improve habitat for many native species, including shorebirds, chinook, chum and coho salmon.

During this event volunteers will help remove flood debris. High winter flows on the Kilchis River deposit bits of trash on our restored wetland property near Tillamook Bay, so we need your help cleaning up the preserve. The work will require volunteers to hike off trail, explore uneven ground, and pack out a bucket of debris. Kids are welcome to join, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
