ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics North Carolina

Do you love Volleyball, Bowling, or Track? How about teaching one of those to others? Special Olympics Cherokee County is looking for practice assistants for our Volleyball, Bowling, and Track practices. If you have the sport knowledge and are at least 16 years of age, we can train you on how to work with Special Olympic athletes.

  • Commit to being practice volunteers for one or more practices
  • Sport knowledge or willingness to learn
  • Complete online and in-person training to give you tools to be successful.
  • Volleyball practices are on Mondays
  • Bowling practices are on Tuesdays
  • Track practices are on Saturdays
  • Each practice is 1 hour long and they’re once a week for 8 weeks
  • Practice volunteers needed for Bowling, Volleyball, and Track
