Are you ready for the best summer of your life? Come be a part of DISCOVERY Children's Museum STEAM Summer Day Camp.
Our STEAM camps are designed to provide an atmosphere where children ages 6-9 nurtured, challenged, and empowered. Under the guidance of our staff, campers participate in activities that build upon STEAM based skills of science, techonology, engieering, art, and math while of course have fun!
Camp Programs are delivered Monday-Friday, and shifts run from 9am - 2pm at the DISCOVERY Children Museum. We value the role volunteers play in bringing the camp mission to life. We ask that individuals or group commit to the entire week of programming:
June 4 - June 8 - Scratch Jr. - Learning to Code
June 11 - June 15 - STEM Learning Camp
June 18 - June 22 - Fine Arts Camp
June 25 - June 29 - Biology Camp
Working as a team, we create a supportive environment that respects each child as an individual and allows them to feel good about who they are. We are looking for individuals who share this commitment to making a difference in the lives of children!

Description
Considered Nevada’s most popular museum, DISCOVERY Children's Museum at the Donald W. Reynolds Discovery Center has seen more than one million visitors since opening its doors in March 2013 as a private, nonprofit educational institution. Las Vegas’ only children’s museum addresses its core educational areas of science and nature, art and culture and early childhood development with 26,000 square feet of interactive hands-on exhibits. The 3-story museum is complete with nine interactive exhibition galleries featuring traveling exhibitions, daily programs, demonstrations and activities and collaborative cultural programming for all occasions.
