Volunteer in Bernalillo and Valencia Counties working with adults with disabilities. Adelante Development Center is looking for volunteers that are 18 and older who want to work with adults with disabilities. No previous experience is required. We are looking for individuals who are cheerful and kindhearted, who can accept direction from staff, and who are physically able to be outdoors in all seasons helping to propel people in wheel chairs in various settings for day trips. Since then, Adelante has taken the opportunity to expand services as needs have arisen.
