Share it with the next generation and become part of a global initiative to change the lives of youth in your community by volunteering with Junior Achievement Southern Alberta!
We are seeking volunteers with practical work experience from all educational and professional backgrounds to facilitate our Economics for Success program.
Program Details:
Economics for Success encourages grade 9 students to consider the advantages of staying in school, and learn what’s needed to succeed in today’s workforce. Students will identify the financial costs of independence, develop employability skills and explore possible post-secondary destinations.
Event Details:
- Program and classroom management training (90 minutes @ JA office)
- One full day on SAIT campus (8:00 am - 2:30 pm, breakfast and lunch included)
- Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation
