The Refugee Career Hub offers Computer Classes for our Refugee population and we need volunteers to help in those classes.
We offer classes for various levels of competency
- Beginner (VERY Basic computer skills)
- Intermediate (Excel)
- Advanced (Computer Coding)
We need volunteers who are experts in these areas AND/OR volunteers who are just patient and helpful.
The commitment is once a week for the duration of the class (between 5 and 8 classes). We offer these classes throughout the year.

Description
The Refugee Career Hub is an employment assistance center and internet café designed especially for our English-as-a-Second-Language community. Here, refugees and new immigrants develop job and life skills while expanding and deepening their social and professional networks.
The Career Hub equips refugees to find employment opportunities with the goal of achieving better standards of living. This is done by assisting them to create resumes, receive basic job skills training, and learn computer skills.
