This is a great opportunity to work with elementary kids in Alexandria and unlock their passion for music. If you play the piano/keyboard and/or have a background in music therapy, we welcome you to share your talents with our kids in an after-school setting and help them prepare pieces for presentations at festivals and performing arts events throughout the city. The music component is part of the larger MPWRD program run by MC Inc. and implemented through partnerships with the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Alexandria City Public Schools, and the Alexandria Department of Recreation Parks and Cultural Activities.

This opportunity is for 1 hour a week, between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. The location in Alexandria is based on day of availability.
