*We are a 501 (c )(3) non-profit corporation of independent volunteers. Our emphasis is on sharing free information with U.S. private home heads which enables them to make safer decisions about hiring contractors to work in, on, or around their properties. No binding commitments or schedules.

Requirements

Aside from being 18 years of age or over; a U.S. Citizen, and seriously concerned for homeowners making safer decisions about the people they hire to assist with their home projects:

  1. Familiar with online research.
  2. Ability to take accurate personal notes.
  3. Unbiased towards others who are different from you.
  4. Passionate about what you do.
  5. Able to function independently
  6. Self-motivated.
  7. Results oriented

Description

Although there are quite a few other assignments available, this one entails going online to track down outdated listings for our nonprofit (HGRBS). As you may know, we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation of independent volunteers like you. We have outdated listings which require updating. These listings are very important to the residents who rely on them for the helpful free information we offer about making safer and wiser decisions for themselves and family.

However when they want information but the listings are outdated, this defeats the social good. When you track down and report on these outdated listings, other volunteers will update them. In the end, everyone benefits. You have done your part. Working together like this we all have. This is what volunteering like this is all about towards the social good of our residents.

Specific values are towards residents making safer and wiser decisions, thereby, accruing better, most comparable results.

Demographic Focus: Private residential settings of detached single-family, duplex, and triplex structures, including similarly structured dwellings of townships, mansions, and estates.

Specific Concerns: Home maintenance and improvement in resident-contractor relations.

*Consistent with the HGRBS "Free Service Policy," the nonprofit offers and delivers primarily online [yet also in real-time] free information, advice, consultation, and support specifically related to matters of private home maintenance and improvement locally, statewide, and nationally in the United States. This is its irrevocable policy for operations.
