We're planting another public food forest in Luverne, MN! Plenty of jobs will be available including digging, planting, mulching, hauling mulch, watering, staking, and installing animal protection fencing.
We will need:
1. Shovels/spades -- Bring any that you have!
2. Wheelbarrows
3. Pitchforks and large shovels for moving mulch. Plastic snow shovels work the absolute best.
4. Large wire cutters
These events are always a great way to get kids involved in volunteering and to meet like-minded people. We can't wait to see you there!

Description
Our goal is to encourage, empower, and equip people to plant and care for edible plants all over. We intend to do this by planting public food forests; implementing programs that add edible trees and shrubs to existing public landscaping; designing low-maintenance edible landscapes for private clients in South Dakota, Minnesota and beyond; and educating the public about planting, harvesting, preserving, and eating low-maintenance edible landscapes through classes, workshops, and online resources.
