Purpose:

We believe that everyone should have access to medical care, both locally and internationally, so we work to support hospitals, clinics, and medical missions throughout the world and in preparation for our disaster relief response packages. Giving Children Hope receives mixed, bulk donations of medical supplies that need to be sorted through, catalogued, and organized. We need volunteers to help sort all of these donations.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Sort donated product into pre-established medical categories
• Organize according to quality, type, and function
• Manage placement of supplies based upon upcoming projects and needs

Volunteer Requirements:

• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
• Light lifting
• 18 years or older
• Good vision and/or bring eye glasses
• Ability to learn general medical supplies and their functions

Time Commitments:

• Minimum shift duration: 2 hours
• Shifts available: Monday through Friday
  • 8:30am - 12pm and 1pm - 4:00pm
• One-time and on-going opportunities available
