Volunteer Donation Pickup Drivers and Unloading

We are looking to expand our volunteer driver and unloading teams. Your own Pickup Truck, Van or SUV is needed. Examples of duties and times include: Friday mornings at 7am: Pickups from Target and County Market in Hudson. 1-2 volunteers drive separately to pickup donations. A team of volunteers waits at the Food Pantry to help unload. There is also a delivery that occurs from Second Harvest Heartland every Wednesday at 8:30am. Volunteers assist with unloading the delivery and organizing the overstock area.
These jobs are a very important part of the Pantry's operations and we would not have the variety of food to distribute without these roles in place.
