Being a Hospice volunteer at Texas Home Health and Hospice is rewarding work. End-of-life is often a a challenging time for patients as well as their loved ones. As A volunteer, you offer treasured companionship and invaluable family support to those who need it most.
Volunteer Activities can include many simple pleasures such as:
- Reading - Playing cards/games - Conversation - Listening to music - Crafts
All you need is compassion. You’ll be working with a team of professionals who will provide you with training and on-going support. A flexible schedule can be designed to accommodate your availability.
If you have experienced a recent loss, we require one year of self-care before volunteering. Please contact Shawn at sdwright@guardianhomecare.us or 615-330-5414 for more information. We look forward to hearing from you!
