Agency on Aging of South Central CT's Volunteer Pr
The Agency’s RSVP Volunteer Program offers individuals 55 years and older service activity opportunities throughout the Greater New Haven area.

Give someone a few minutes of your time and see how wonderful you both can feel!!!!!!!!!!! During these difficult times we are all experiencing isolation and there are more seniors stuck inside with little to no reason to smile.

  • Our Friendly Visitor Program and Phone A Friend programs offers an opportunity to visit someone either in-person or over the phone.
  • Pre-qualified seniors, Veterans and adults with disabilities are looking for a connection with someone willing to listen, share stories and give them something to look forward to, could that be you visiting or making a phone call?
  • Vaccination status is required
  • Amazingly only a few hours of your time can mean the world to them.
  • Registration, background checks and training is required with the Agency on Aging of South Central CT’s Volunteer program.
  • PPE can be provided for both clients and volunteers.

Supported by a Federal Grant from AmeriCorps there is no income limit related to becoming involved the only stipulation is that you be 55 years of age or older.
