Responsible for advising Education First on all legal matters. Supports legal issues by suggesting remedies for relevant issues. Works closely with the Board to ensure all decisions are compliant with local, state, and federal law.
This is an advisory-only role responsible for identification of legal liabilities and advising the organization on when to retain counsel. This role will not represent the organization in any legal proceedings.
The following qualifications are preferred: ● Licensed to practice law in active good standing with the governing state bar association ● Experience with contract and non-profit law
