Volunteer to organize Newspaper articles

Angels For Action a 501c 3 nonprofit is looking for a volunteers who can help us organize our physical newspaper. If you have experience in scrap booking, very organized, detail oriented and are looking for a way to give back to your community this could be the opportunity for you. This will help with our records and potential donors to help keep our free programs running. We will provide all the supplies necessary and letters for community service if needed (minimum 32 hours).

Details:

1. Very Organized and loves labeling and/or color coding
2. Proficient in reading both English and Spanish
3. Know how to use scanner on Epson printer
4. Familiar with google drive and/or computers
5. You can work any amount of hours you want per week or a few times a month
   1. Either on tuesdays 12 -4pm, thurs 5-7pm, friday 9-11 am 5-7pm, sometimes saturday mornings we are open
   2. Looking to complete this project by the end of the year

1. Cut up specific newspaper articles (we have a ready pile!)
   
   1. Make sure the year and date is visible, if not then write it on the article
   2. Place in a plastic clear sleeve if needed
   3. Place in designated box with dividers by Year
2. Than scan Article to computer
   1. Name file accordingly ( YYYY-MM Article Name.jpg )
   2. place in virtual folders by year (same as physical box)
      1. place either on computer desktop or designated Gdrive folder
