We're looking for volunteers to help with tasks around the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Jacksonville office. It's a fun and flexible opportunity for a high school or college student to earn community service hours for scholarships or for someone looking for a way give to give back to their community! It's not just limited to high school and college students though. If you're retired or just have some free time to help out, we'd LOVE to have you! We are open Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm, and would love to work with your schedule during these hours. Our office is located at 6196 Lake Gray Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 322344. :)
We often have volunteers seek out prize opportunities for events, assemble kits that we distribute to sponsors, and help with general, day to day office tasks.

Description
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency -- a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans.
MDA was created in 1950 by a group of adults with muscular dystrophy, parents of children with muscular dystrophy, and a physician-scientist studying the disorder. Since its earliest days it has been energized by its number-one volunteer and national chairman, entertainer Jerry Lewis.
The Association's programs are funded almost entirely by individual private contributors. MDA seeks no government grants, United Way funding or fees from those it serves.
