About

Community Based Mentoring

Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado

Volunteers are each matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) for a one-to-one mentoring relationship. Volunteers commit to one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the match relationship, being available for suggestions, counsel, and assistance.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto-insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.

This is our traditional program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters (nationally) is best and most known for.

Currently, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be mentors. We presently have several young boys enrolled as Little Brothers waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering as a Big Brother today!
