Join City of Raleigh Parks Staff as we remove invasive plants from the Raleigh Rose Garden. Invasive plants out compete our native species and spread quickly. Removing these plants will help native species to flourish. There are two days to choose from:
April 24th - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
April 26th - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
You can register for one or both depending on the number of volunteer spots available.
Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will be using hand tools (loppers, pruners, and hand saws) to remove invasive plants. We will also need help dragging and stacking the cut debris to be hauled away.
