Broome County HEARS (Higher Education, Access, Retention and Success) is searching for a VISTA with interest in interacting and connecting with local communities and their organizations. The VISTA will assist BC HEARS with a wide-scale assessment on the educational climate in rural Broome County. They will collaborate with local community organizations to assess educational interests and attainment, produce comprehensive reports on their findings, and assist with participant recruitment.

Broome County HEARS is a grant funded program designed to assist community members in gaining access to education or previous Binghamton University or SUNY Broome students in finishing their degree. Partnership with Binghamton University, SUNY Broome, and Broome County Promise Zone.
