About

We are looking for people residing in Georgia that are willing to commit at least one three hour shift a week to handle calls pertaining to wildlife emergencies and non-emergencies. We will provide training on what to expect, typical scenarios you will encounter, virtual and in person resources available, and how to direct each call. We have a network of volunteer transporters throughout Georgia. We work with permitted wildlife rehabilitators throughout Georgia along with veterinary clinics that will triage injured and orphaned wildlife. You can commit to more than one shift if you are interested. We will have a hotline number that is forwarded to your cell phone for you to handle the calls during your volunteer shift. Your number or personal information will not be given to the caller. WREN is made up of entirely volunteers. We have handled over 2,000 cases since we began transporting wildlife thanks to our volunteers.
