Help us support newly housed (formally homeless) individuals by accompanying staff on home visits in the Fort Collins area.
Volunteer will be given 1-3 days notice of date/time/location of home visit. While on home visit, staff will be leading the visit. Staff will drive to home and volunteers can choose if they want to meet staff at client home or if they want to ride with staff.
Home visits tend to be 30-45 minutes long.
This is a wonderful opportunity to support someone who is newly housed and readjusting to living in a home. Our clients value the companionship and personal connection of others in the community. By being a friendly face and offering suggestions and support, you can help someone be successful in their new living environment.
