Our Community Garden's purpose is to provide food for the community, and to educate the community on nutrition and space efficient, organic gardening. We are looking for able-bodied green-thumbs to help during our garden's busiest time of the year! We are willing to take whatever time you are willing to give, you are welcome to any vegetables available at harvest, and you will be contributing towards the betterment of our community. We look forward to meeting you!
We are also open to the idea of expanding our garden to expand our abilities to provide food for, and educate the community - therefor, landscaping and urban planning experience would be wonderful as well!
Duties include (but are not limited to): weeding, sowing seeds, harvesting, turning soil, pruning, watering, mulching, sustainable garden design, landscaping, and more.
