It’s almost here! The Northwest Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association presents the 16 th Annual Magic of Hope Auction & Gala. Volunteers are needed Saturday, April 28 th from 3:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at the Seattle Design Center. We are EXCITED to invite you volunteer this year as we are anticipating it to be our biggest event yet!
Volunteers with Magic of Hope are an integral part of the event and contribute tremendously to the success of the gala. Volunteers are asked to dress like a guest! Cocktail attire with comfortable shoes. Volunteer training/orientation and a catered dinner will be provided. Volunteers may work independently or in pairs. Parking will be provided in designated lot.
Sample Volunteer Roles & Needed Qualities:
- Finance & Registration: Personable, Comfort with math, Sitting role
- Zone Lead: Problem solver, Leader
- Silent Auction: Engaging, Talk up items, Organize & bag items
- Guest Sales & Games: Energetic, Selling, Standing, Walking
- Live Auction Promotion: Build excitement, A talker, Promote items
Live Auction: Listening, Strong eye-sight, Sitting, Standing
