SpokesDog is looking for dog loving volunteers to help us spread our posts through their social media channels by forwarding our ongoing posts. Studies have shown that dogs can help with releasing "happy" hormones and reducing stress, improving mental and physical health, overcoming loneliness and depression, to improving interaction with people with autism. We address these issues and more such as spay and neuter programs.

How can you help? Just by following us and sharing our posts via your social media followers. The more people that know about these issues the better for dogs, right?

We are also looking for volunteers who have a relationship with their local shelter(s) who could interact with them regarding our mission. We want to broaden the scope of a shelter’s exposure by helping promote their mission and dogs via our platforms. When it comes down to it, ours and a shelter’s mission ultimately are to get more dogs adopted. Of course, we are always receptive to those who have suggestions on topics we can use in our posts as well.

Our spokesdog, Luckee Straye, speaks to the plight of dogs. We are all about helping dogs and we believe those who adopt them ultimately find true joy and love.

To follow us and share our posts, check out this message from Luckee himself in this post link: http://spokesdog.org/volunteers/ Or visit us at SpokesDog.org Thank you!!

Mission Statement

SpokesDog's mission is to promote dog issues and adoption through social media using an animated dog as an advocate.

Description

SpokesDog will support adoption by working with other nonprofits to enhance their outreach. Because many shelter nonprofits do not have effective marketing efforts due to financial or volunteer/staff restrictions, we intend to help fill that gap by utilizing an animated dog through social media to help with promotion. The animated dog, named Luckee Straye, will present dog issues straight from a dog's mouth. This will be a unique approach to increasing the need for adoption and will hopefully show how a dog can enrich anyone’s life.
