About

This is an opportunity for you to part of a new volunteering program in Kenya where you can use your skills and talent to help the lives of vulnerable children who suffer from lack of food at school. Many school children go to school without food and sometimes most do not go at all because of lack of food. This affects their learning and some even drop out of school. We decided to set a side a piece of land that we can grow varieties of food that can feed school children. We selected jasho Village where we will be able to feed the children.
We welcome you to come and help us in our farm.
What will you do

  • Prepare seed bed for seedlings of sukuma wiki(kales).
  • Transfer sukuma wiki seedlings to the garden.
  • Plant sorghum
  • Clean the available dam for aquaculture.
  • Help out in preparing porridge for the children.
  • Feeding the kids at school.
All these will go into cooking for the children.
Immediately you choose our project,we will contact you and get to know you so that you can ask any questions before coming to Kenya.
We also do orientation upon arrival.
The organization arranges for pickup from the airport( Moi International Airport Eldoret) to the where you'll be staying. You will Be placed with a host family on the farm. It's an exciting moment as you'll be able to learn and experience Kenyan culture. You'll participate in cooking and house work too. Most food is African cuisine but there are western restaurants in a mall, 8 kms away.
This is a charitable organization, therefore we only provide transport to and from the area of work.
You will receive a detailed information immediately you contact us.
During weekends we organise tours for you where you can travel and have a feel of the beauty of Kenya. If interested on a safari,we will schedule days for you out of the normal working days.
We look forward in working with you to better lives of these young poor children.
