Are You A NICK NACK NINJA?
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is seeking volunteers to work in our receiving area sorting and cleaning gently used items donated to us for resale in any one of our four resale stores. Our Charlotte County community is very generous in their donations, and a large portion of the proceeds earned on the sale of these items in our resale stores supports our main mission of building homes for low income families in Charlotte County.
It is helpful if you have a discerning eye to identify vintage or antique items and also you may have talent then toward displaying items in our showrooms. We are looking for volunteers Mondays through Saturdays where you can work half days or a full shift 9:00 am -1:00 pm or 12:00pm-5:00 pm or the full day. Can we help put a NNN to volunteer duty with Charlotte County Habitat?
WHO ARE WE?
Since 1987, Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity has offered a home ownership opportunity to qualified county residents. We are in the process of building 30 homes in Charlotte County, and March this year we completed our 400 th home. We believe providing safe, decent and affordable housing provides more stability to the low income residences that we serve.

People who work with Habitat have committed to work with families in their communities, putting Jesus Christ's teachings into practice by building and renovating houses. Habitat realizes that the enormous challenges of eradicating of poverty housing and the housing shortage can be overwhelming for just one group. However, if substandard housing becomes socially and morally unacceptable, and the issue of decent housing finds a permanent place in the hearts and minds of everyone around the world, the problem can be overcome and the vision can become a reality.
