Do you have a caring heart and voice?
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a volunteer office receptionist who can greet visitors with a warm smile and a pleasant voice. Responsibilities include taking and transferring incoming calls in a timely and accurate manner, receiving visitors and being our front office gate guard. You should enjoy working on special projects, and learning more about the opportunities within our organization. Shifts are available weekdays from8:00 am -12:30 pm or 12:00pm-4:00 pm or the full day. Does this sound like you?
WHO ARE WE?
Since 1987, Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity has offered a home ownership opportunity to qualified county residents. We are in the process of building 30 homes in Charlotte County, and March this year we completed our 400 th home. We believe providing safe, decent and affordable housing provides more stability to the low income residences that we serve.

People who work with Habitat have committed to work with families in their communities, putting Jesus Christ's teachings into practice by building and renovating houses. Habitat realizes that the enormous challenges of eradicating of poverty housing and the housing shortage can be overwhelming for just one group. However, if substandard housing becomes socially and morally unacceptable, and the issue of decent housing finds a permanent place in the hearts and minds of everyone around the world, the problem can be overcome and the vision can become a reality.
