As a certified electronics recycling organization, we seek volunteers who want to be part of the environmental mission to keep computers and other electronics out of landfills where they can pollute ground water. We disassemble and recycle the parts either for reuse, giving computers and other devices a second life, or, we send parts to other certified recycling vendors for proper disposal under state and federal law. Our Electronics Recycling Technicians will get to know what is inside computers and how they work as they participate in the recycling process.

Comprenew strives to protect businesses, people and the environment from the threat of improperly disposed electronic devices through best practice technology data management, asset recovery and recycling services, while fostering job readiness and computer literacy among at-rick population sin our community.
Description
Comprenew is a nonprofit which recycles and rebuilds electronics according to strict E-Stewards and R-2 industry standards. Comprenew has a social mandate to help bridge the "digital divide" by offer free computer literacy training and access to very affordable desktops and laptop computers for the general public and through area educational, business and nonprofit workforce development agencies.
