Volunteers Needed For Relay For Life of Montgomery County

We are looking for volunteers for many roles with the 2018 Relay For Life of Montgomery County. We need fundraising teams, sponsors, day of event helpers, and leaders to help on the committee planning the event. Whether you have 5 minutes to help or have tons of time - we can find a role for you and get you connected!

Think of 5 names of people you care about: family, friends, co-workers, neighbors. Look at the very short list of 5 people you love.

Current statistics tell us that 1 in 3 females and 1 in 2 males will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Those current statistics tell us that 2 out of those 5 will one day hear the words "you have cancer."

But here’s the amazing thing. 1 in 3 females and 1 in 2 males- those are the statistics today- but they don’t have to be part of our cancer future. We can step up and say those statistics- they are unacceptable. That is not something that we are willing to have be a part of lives going forward. We are going to step up and take action to change that cancer future.

The only way that future changes is with YOU. YOU are the leaders of this movement. YOU are leaders of a global movement that can SAVE LIVES. YOU are the leaders who can work to help to prevent your loved ones right there on your lists from hearing the words "you have cancer"
