The Kansas City Film Festival International needs additional volunteer Guest Experience Specialists to usher and assist Guests attending the Kansas City Film Festival, April 10th through April 14th, 2019. Volunteer shifts will be about 3 hours long, depending on the number of volunteers we have, and responsibilities will include helping Guests find the correct theater, distributing and collecting ballots, monitoring attendance, and more. For helping during two or more shifts, you'll receive a free festival t-shirt and the opportunity to earn individual film passes. Volunteers must commit to attending a training session. Training sessions are currently scheduled for:
Thursday, March 21, 6:30-8:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 10-11:30 AM.
(A third training session may be added at a later date. Specific details about the training or volunteer responsibilities are available on request.)
If this sounds like an interesting opportunity for you, please email Bob Potemski, our Co-Director of Theater Volunteer Operations at bob@kcfilmfest.org. We'd love to hear from you!
