We are working on educational reform in Special Economic Zone 'Alabuga’, recognized the best in Europe by 'fDi Intelligence’ magazine of 'Financial Times’ group.

'Alabuga’ is located in one of Russia’s most economically developed regions.

The residents of Sp.Ec. Zone 'Alabuga’ are such world-famous companies as Ford, Armstrong, Rockwool, 3M and others.

One of the best international practices in 'Alabuga’ is AIS - Alabuga International School. Since 2014 we have been teaching IB curriculum in Alabuga International School, on 26 - 27 April we are expecting verification visit from IBO. AIS has international teaching and administrative staff.

Still the whole educational system in this location is not student-centered and doesn’t meet local and international requirements. Neither has it suited the demand of local international companies - the residents of SEZ 'Alabuga’.

At the moment we accepted new 2018 - 2028 educational strategy according to which we will integrate:

IB curriculum with A-level mathematics and science;

Emotional Intelligence (EI), Critical Thinking (CTh) and Design Thinking (DTh);

Industrial Robotics practice and projects, incorporated into academic curriculum with certification from Fanuc, Kuka, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell, Cisco and other internationally recognized manufacturers;

Biotechnology and chemistry practice and projects, incorporated into academic curriculum with certification from internationally recognized leaders in biotechnology and chemistry.

The major mission of this strategy is to build in a small Russian location (which is by the way industrially infrastructured and internationally targeted) an educational system, able to create better future, better life and better opportunities for the local children.

In compliance with the above-mentioned mission we prepared a list of requests and questions to address educational experts and organizations in the world to implement our idea the most effective way, to base our strategy on the best experience and benchmarks.

We look for volunteers on Industrial Robotics, Biotechnology, EI and Dth to teach to kids in AIS as either separate subjects or incorporated into IB curriculum. STEM teachers, biology and chemistry teachers will also suit the mission if they are ready to stretch their minds for project-based learning and cooperate with IB teachers.
