Project New Yorker is seeking a Basic Computer instructor for our Digital Literacy program for women. Class will he held for 8 weeks for 4 hours/week on the weekdays in the morning.
RESPONSIBILITIES include teaching: * Basic Computer Skills * Basic Word processing skills and typing * Letter writing * Internet research skills to apply for jobs or find local government and other beneficial information * How to perform a Google search * Email set up including send/receive email and Introduction to social media * Online banking and shopping (Amazon/Ebay to make purchases) * How to track packages, application etc.

Project New Yorker is a small emerging not-for-profit organization in Jamaica, Queens, NY. We provide tools, resources, and computer training to low-income immigrant and undocumented women and young girls living in New York City and help them to be self-sufficient.
