  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Are you an artist? Do you love to paint? Do you have experience in teaching painting to others? If you feel like your paint skills are up to par we would love to have you! We would like to start a new Paint Night Program at the Edenvale Branch Library in South San Jose. We would like the program to ideally be lead in the evenings once a month, depending on your schedule and availability. This is a great opportunity to connect with your community and promote arts enrichment. Leading this program would assist you in satisfying community service hours requirements.

As a Paint Night Instructor with the Edenvale Branch Library you would be responsible for:

1. Hosting a monthly Paint Night by providing instruction on re-creating a painting for fun, leisure and education

If you're in an advanced AP Art Class, a Community College or University Art Class with a strong interest in arts education and/or if you currently work or serve as an art instructor and or/ are intend to major in Art History, you are highly encouraged to apply for this volunteering opportunity.

If you are interested please contact Danielle G. by email at Danielle.Goynes@sjlibrary.org for more information. Thank you!
