Looking for a Light Board Operator who loves being creative, working with others, and has a desire to use tech booth skills in a community theater environment where fun is priority #1.
Description
As a Light Board Operator, you'll be part of The Marco Players' Production Team. You'll work with a team of talented volunteers including a director, actors, a stage manager, a technical director, and a sound board operator.
You will participate in an orientation and hands-on training to operate lights and make characters and the storyline come alive. To do this, you'll follow cues and a script from the show's technical director and participate in some rehearsals.
Production volunteers receive 2 complimentary season passes to attend up to 6 preview night shows during the 2019-2020 season at The Marco Players Theater.
The production season begins October 2019 and runs through May 3, 2020. Orientation, training, and ongoing mentoring is provided. There are six main productions for which you may volunteer for at least one or all six productions!
