MHMR Tarrant needs volunteers like YOU to help support refugees in the Fort Worth area! A Refugee Support volunteer can expect to
Lead classes in English and Citizenship (teaching materials provided)
-Work with refugees with ESL (English as a Second Language)
-Orient refugees to everyday life in the US
Requirements:
-Must be 18+
-Must pass a criminal history check
Recurrence:
Weekly on Tuesdays from 9-11:30am

For nearly 50 years, MHMR Tarrant has improved the lives of people with health care needs, such as substance use, psychiatric disorders, and intellectual delays and disabilities. Using innovative approaches, MHMR partners with individuals and families, and collaborates with other community organizations to provide services and a hopeful future.
