Volunteer to provide massages to people living with HIV in Minnesota. The Aliveness Project has private therapy rooms and provides tables, linens, lotions, cleaning products, and other supplies. We work with your schedule. Your time and skill will make a huge impact!
A wide variety of therapies have been found effective in relieving pain and other symptoms related to HIV, relieving the side effects of HIV medications, and restoring a healthy flow of energy to the body and improve one’s immune system. At The Aliveness Project, we recognize that the mind, body and spirit work together to improve overall health, and believe that the integrative therapies we offer contribute to the total well-being of the individual.
The Integrative Therapies Program provides useful therapies such as acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic care to our members at no cost. We provide a clean, comfortable space for our practitioners to work and a setting where members can relax and receive the full benefit of these therapies.
