2019 California Coast Classic Bike Tour Volunteer Opportunity (9/21/19-9/28/19)

The Arthritis Foundation’s California Coast Classic (CCC) is looking for thrillseekers, cycling enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a great adventure to come on tour with us. Every year we ride 525 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 8-days in search of a cure for arthritis. This event annually raises over 1 million dollars for the Arthritis Foundation and would not be such an amazing success without the support of our energetic and hard-working volunteers.

A position we are trying to fill is a person who is available is to drive a 26-foot truck that will be carrying supplies throughout the trip and someone who is able to lift up to 40lbs. We are looking for 4 volunteers that will be able to join us. Please note that the application does not guarantee a place on the crew. Spots are limited.

Our volunteers are selfless, dedicated and unbelievably committed to making the CCC a memorable experience for everyone involved. They get up very early and go to sleep late. During the day they greet riders with warm smiles and words of encouragement. At the end of the day, you can hear them cheering while ringing cowbells welcoming the riders into camp.

Our volunteers receive the same accommodations as the riders, your breakfast and dinner are provided as well as your camping fees are all covered. While we do not require volunteers to fundraise, we love it when they do!
