Frankie's Friends is seeking volunteers to work our booth at the PetPalooza pet lovers event! As a tabling volunteer, you will be responsible for representing and spreading the mission of Frankie's Friends! Engage with event attendees to inform them of Frankie's Friends' mission, let them know how we help pets, and let them know how they can donate or get involved. You will also help with set up and/or break down of the Frankie's Friends booth.

Must have a passion for the mission and have excellent people skills- be outgoing and willing to engage with general public. Volunteer shifts are flexible, but preferably will be 4 to 4.5 hours- either 9am to 1pm, or 1pm to 5:30pm.

PETPALOOZA

About Frankie's Friends

Mission Statement

We are a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Many charitable organizations exist to provide care for strays, abused pets, and relinquished or abandoned pets, but there are few alternatives for pets belonging to otherwise loving and responsible owners who simply are unable to pay for an unexpected illness.

Description

Frankie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures
and saving pets with cancer and other life-threatening conditions.

We save pets’ lives by providing grants to help with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment. In addition to Frankie’s Friends’ support, qualifying families are responsible for a portion of the treatment costs for their pets. The veterinary hospitals at which the pets are treated also assist by giving discounts.

Special funding may be made available to support the care of certified working dogs as well as rehabilitation of sick or injured wildlife.

It is also part of our mission to educate pet owners about the impact advanced medicine can have on pets’ lives.

Frankie’s Friends assists families who demonstrate substantial financial need and whose pets, with treatment, have a good prognosis for return to a good quality of life.
