CASA needs volunteers from South County! If you're interested, please stop by my booth for your own info session, find out what CASA is all about. I will be available 10am-1pm, and look forward to speaking with you!
With the support of a CASA volunteer, a Monterey County foster child is more likely to succeed, receive vital services, and find a safe, permanent home. CASA volunteers work one-on-one with a child or group of siblings. They get to know the children, gather important information from reports and professionals, and advocate for the children’s best interests related to their education, health, living arrangements, and general well-being. No experience is necessary. We provide all the training you’ll need, plus a dedicated staff supervisor to provide resources and support.
