Family Promise of South Palm Beach Country is looking for a Volunteer to assist with Special Fundraising Events

Duties & Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for assisting staff members with our yearly fundraising event. Duties to include but, not limited to:

Special Events

  • Solicit event sponsors and donations
  • Collect the in-kind donations
  • Assist with mailing out event related materials

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Flexible and strong work ethic
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable speaking in public
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and committees
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Prior event management experience

Job Type: Volunteer Part-Time, Seasonal

  • Event Management: 3 years
